August Leaderboard Recap

Five members accounted for the six top Leaderboard scores for the month of August. Ross Gallo of Florida pulled off the impressive feat by posting the best ROI total for both Place and Show. For that excellent performance, Ross has won the maximum of two free entries in the 15-seat TwinSpires.com Biggest Vegas Qualifier Ever on Nov. 29.

Note (from the chart below) that his Place score of $1,064 failed to top the best score posted in July, therefore Gallo's Place ROI score puts him in second place on the Annual Leaderboard for that category. The leader is still Frederick Speck with his $1,136 Place ROI score in July.

Here are the "best monthly" scores for the month of August and their respective position on the Annual Leaderboard:

The response to this innovative contest has been overwhelming. "I think the Leaderboard contest is very challenging and exciting," explained veteran tournament player Noel Pink. "It is a lot of fun to watch your name move up on the Leaderboard and to know that if you are not doing good one month there is always the next month.
